Types is a recurring group exhibition at Prøve Gallery dedicated to the exploration of typography and letterforms.
Each invited artist creates two letters—and the final artworks are then hung alphabetically. Cody was assigned G and H.
In collaboration with Taylor Bjork, Cody created an installation that questions typography’s inherent purpose through the juxtaposition of expected (flat) and unexpected (3D + multifunctional) letterforms.
The pressboard chair they designed and built is a proportionately correct, to-scale replica of a 3,437-point capital H set in Futura Light.
