In June 2015, the Duluth Art Institute invited Cody to curate and design a pop-up shop in collaboration with Tyler Johnson, in-house designer at the DAI.
Together, their goal was to showcase art from local and international designers, while also making the process of buying art feel less intimidating than in a traditional gallery.
They created a playful and flexible identity that visualizes the designer’s role in creating order from chaos. Spring in Minnesota can be bleak—so everything was painted green. Really green!
